Transcript with Unsolicited Mail Applications

Post by Anonymous User » Sun Jun 22, 2014 8:54 pm

All,

My GPA and rank are listed on my resume. Is it necessary to mail a transcript? Would it look odd without a transcript? My grades went down, but I still have a high GPA/rank (as indicated in my resume). So I want to avoid transcript.

Send the transcript. It's one of the basic application materials (along with your cover letter, resume, and writing sample(s), and possibly letters of recommendation). As you say, you have a high GPA/rank, so don't worry too much about a downward trend.

Agreed. We'd just toss your app if it didn't include a transcript.
