LOCI samples?

Post by BVest » Tue Jun 17, 2014 10:40 am

Today I need to send an updated rez and transcript to judges to whom I've applied to provide my complete spring grades. I've been working on mine for a while and it still sounds awkward. Does anyone have any good examples they wouldn't mind sharing? Thanks.

Dear Judge Hand,

I'm writing to update my application for a clerkship in your chambers for the 2027-2028 term.

Since applying, I've won the Nobel Prize and completed the spring term at Princeton Law School.

Attached please find an updated resume and transcript to reflect these updates.

Thank you for your continued consideration,

John Hancock

Thanks. That's much cleaner than mine.

I'd say "current resume" to avoid using the word "update" twice in one sentence.
