Post Bonus Information in This Thread
Alright everyone. One of the more difficult things to locate online is whether a specific firm in a specific market will give a bonus, and what that bonus will be. So I'd like this thread to be a clearinghouse for information on bonuses. Feel free to post anonymously or feel free to PM me information that I can relay into this post. (I will not disclose anyone's identity or information.)
If you know a firm has a policy of giving a bonus for clerkships, please post the following information.
Firm Name:
Market: (If you know the firm has a nationwide policy, please indicate so.)
Bonus Amount:
Additional bonus info? (e.g. If you do 2 years, they give a $70,000 bonus OR Fed Cir receives $90,000, etc. Feel free to mark "Unsure")

Is it worth adding what kind of clerkship? A magistrate clerkship (though a valuable experience) might be treated differently from COA. Though if it's too identifying, obviously no problem.

If posters have that information, definitely include it (I'll edit original post later).Anonymous User wrote:Is it worth adding what kind of clerkship? A magistrate clerkship (though a valuable experience) might be treated differently from COA. Though if it's too identifying, obviously no problem.

Not Miami. Federal. Not magistrate. Not bankruptcy. I was disapointed too, so I may not go back after the clerkship. We'll see how I like the other firms I interview with.Anonymous User wrote:Wow. Miami?Anonymous User wrote:Firm Name: Greenberg Traurig

Here's the lawclerkaddict list. Disclaimer: It's for circuit clerkships only and from 2007, so not the most current. However, it's fairly comprehensive: http://lawclerkaddict.blogspot.com/2007 ... chart.html.
edit: here's another list from ATL that's fairly old: http://abovethelaw.com/2007/04/skaddenf ... al-report/
