Ah okay, sorry to hear! I haven’t heard much about them, so was just curious whether they were moving and giving offers and interviews.

Williams & Connolly has started interviewing.
Williams & Connolly has also begun sending out post-interview rejections.
How long after the interview did you hear back?

Current SG associate. We're actively interviewing and giving offers.

FWIW, some offices seem to be taking longer to consider the candidate pool before moving forward with offers than others.

Thanks for the insight! And Susman is 2 rounds of interviews?

Has anyone heard back from quinn emanuel yet? I submitted my app via email in early Dec. and no response yet, not even a confirmation of receipt
I applied there early too. Never received a word back either.
Same here but applied more recently.
Based on last year, it seems they may not start moving until mid Feb/March.

Same SG associate. TBH i'm not entirely sure right now, as there recently was a change in the policy. I think its only one now (after a screener, if any) but don't quote me on that.

This is correct to an extent. Each office chooses who they want to interview and who they want to put up for a vote. But interviews and votes are conducted across all four offices--i.e. a candidate for Seattle will get an interview from the Seattle office and will be put up for a vote by the Seattle office, but will be interviewed by attorneys in all four offices, and all four offices vote on his/her candidacy.

I have seen a lot of people warning against Kaplan Hecker, but I haven’t seen many concrete reasons (other than Robbie Kaplan is potentially difficult to work with or otherwise problematic, but these too aren’t specific). Is there anything more specific that people can speak on?

Not at all. We're still interviewing everybody remotely. Folks from each office participate in the interviewing process, but its not four separate full-day interviews.

Oh I see, I thought you meant that everyone in the firm across four offices was voting on these people rather than just the interviewers

Everyone at the firm votes on whether to give an offer--from the Managing Partners down to the newest associate--but the vote is done based on feedback from the interviewers.
