He has also hired from schools like Texas.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 2:44 pmThis is a slight exaggeration. Bibas is extremely selective, and cares about grades more than most feeders, but he isn’t “if you go to a non-HYSC you must literally be valedictorian” selective. Though it’ll be tough—most of his hires are top 5% at HYSC and he at least used to have a grueling interview process.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 9:09 pmRight now, Bibas and Sutton are probably the two circuit judges that can and do send the majority of their clerks to SCOTUS. They hire accordingly. If by “relatively wide range of schools” you mean the #1 student from NYU or Penn, or the occasional Duke or Northwestern, he’s probably hired those kinds of students before.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 2:02 pmAnyone have insight on Bibas' hiring process? How selective is he in terms of grades and school? Seems like he hires from a relatively wide range of schools within the T14, which gives me some hope. Thanks!
He is also very clearly not one of the top two feeders right now—that’s just wrong.

Anyone know which EDPA and 3d Circuit judges are interviewing/have hired people for 2026 so far? And which judges are full for that term?

His hiring seems to have changed a lot over time and as he’s gotten more established.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jun 11, 2025 9:31 amHe’s hired cum laude grads from Georgetown before.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri May 30, 2025 2:56 pmHe has also hired from schools like Texas.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 2:44 pmThis is a slight exaggeration. Bove is officially nominated for the NJ seat, leaving the DE seat open.
Predictions for nominees? And are they likely to move the seat to PA, or keep it in DE?

Probably Lauren Witzke once she finishes law school. Or Alina Habba—a Widener grad.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 4:49 pmBove is officially nominated for the NJ seat, leaving the DE seat open.

I believe Habba was a PA Widener grad so not DE, but unironically I could see the WH giving that a shot. Not sure why else they'd yank Giordano out of the NJ USA spot for her unless to try to position her for a judgeship.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 5:44 pmProbably Lauren Witzke once she finishes law school. They kicked her to NJ because Susie Wilkes wanted her out of the White House, it's not that complicated.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 1:09 pmI believe Habba was a PA Widener grad so not DE, but unironically I could see the WH giving that a shot.
