OSCAR will be the best place generally. People could give more guidance if you say what school/rank/experience is. I think circuits and major cities for D. Ct. are really starting to fill up.

OSCAR says she's accepting apps until end of Dec 2015 and interviewing in Feb-Mar 2016. I doubt you'd hear anything until Jan 2016.

Original Anon. I meant more in terms of non-application stuff. What she's like to work for, how she's viewed by the community, that sort of thing.

Does anyone know if Judge Block is finished hiring? Oscar still says Available, but of course can be wrong.

Looking for literally any D.Ct. Clerkship in PA/OH/WV. Near the top of the class at a T20, and have ties to the area. Just go to OSCAR? Send unsolicited apps to every judge? Other advice?

Honestly you need to expand your search. Almost every judge in those markets has hired for 2016. There are four or five who are waiting until after the new year or after3L grades are finished in May to hire, but you probably don't want to hold your breath for one of those (20ish?) slots. Def. check out OSCAR, I think Kearney and Surrick just posted openings there recently.
