Fwiw I’m a reach feeder applicant and have already decided to wrap it up and move on to 3L. Sure, DC Cir. moves a tad later, but these things are correlated and I haven’t heard a sniff
Lmao it is insane to "wrap it up" because you haven't heard something in less than 3 hours. As a "reach" feeder applicant surely your plan wasn't to nail a bunch of interview within hours of the opening.

No but (a) I don’t need a clerkship and can move on or try later and (b) there’s going to be only 1 wave for most of these feeders. So I’m at peace

Calls have been going out for non-SDNY/DDC districts like NDIL, EDNY, DConn, DMass, EDPA. Do not know about any other districts.
Any chance you’ll name drop who you’ve heard in NDIL and EDPA moving???

I have empathy here because I remember when I was in your position but you really need to relax, your cycle is not "over"

I'm a 3.9X at PVM and haven't heard anything today. I've applied pretty broadly across DC, 2, 4, 9 and a few district courts. Should I be worried?

What this means is that you aren't like a holy shit we have to snap up this candidate right now before other judges get to him. This does not mean you're screwed. This thread is creating a lot of unnecessary neuroticism.

Youll likely end up fine, but just saying, that’s not really a broad app strategy
