Isn't LR at Chicago grade on? Someone from Chicago just landed a OT 2015 SCOTUS clerkship who didn't make LR.

I mean, that person could have chosen not to do law review at all. There are other ways to show writing ability/attention to detail/ability to grind. They could have a great pre-LS story.
