Ebel sent out emails to let people know he's done, and I believe OSCAR now says he's done, too. :(

She has begun reviewing apps, per a call to chambers. Implication seemed to be that she hasn't interviewed yet, but that wasn't explicitly stated.

Received a letter informing me Gorsuch has not started hiring for 2015 yet, but nothing about 2014.

Has Phillips started interviewing? Any idea what specifically he is looking for? I am really interested in clerking for him.

The website says that Judge Gorsuch accepts applications "anytime after the receipt of second year grades." Does that mean current 2Ls can't apply to him until the summer of 2014 (i.e., Gorsuch is still on-plan)? That seems inconsistent with much of what I know about this process.

(I'm applying for 2015-16, ideally)

The website has said that for a number of years now, dating back to when the plan was Labor Day, and it was meant to signal that Gorsuch could give a crap about the plan. I think you can safely ignore it.

No, this definitely signaled that he was off plan. Prior to last year, the plan required students to wait until fall of 3L year, so taking apps in May or June was considered very early. But things changed a lot last year. I know Gorsuch hired some people last year with just three semesters of grades, so you should apply no later than early 2014.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
