Anyone hear of any movement from Engelmayer or the other SDNY judges?
Yeah the most selective tier of SDNY judges moved
I know of movement from Cronan, Engelmayer, Furman—all but Oetken and Rakoff, but they’ve probably moved too
Rakoff moved

As someone who has gone through this dumb process, you’re 99% not gonna get SDNY without not only great grades but a call/email from a rec ahead of the plan. My prof called my judge a week before plan opened and told me the “on plan” judge already has multiple calls. It’s a rigged game so don’t take it personally if u don’t hear from these peiple

For the CN CA2 judges Walker and Nardini have interviewed. In all honesty, though, I think it is safe to say every CA2 judge has extended interview offers by now.

Not relevant to your actual question about movement, but Robinson is on the 2nd, not the 1st - only mention it because I would check your cover letter to make sure you put the right Circuit down since that seems like an easy thing for a judge to ding you on.

Need some advice. Post-grad here. Already have a COA clerkship starting this summer. Submitted applications via OSCAR to a small group of competitive COA judges. Unfortunately one of my letters of rec (my best one from a well-known and respected professor) was still pending at the time. My recommender has since updated the letter and it is now part of my applications on OSCAR. Should I reach out to the judges I applied informing them that this letter is now available for them to review? If yes, how should I reach out? Email? Calling chambers?

They can see on OSCAR if the app has been updated. I wouldn't reach out to chambers; they're already overwhelmed trying to hire their top candidates right now.

Anyone heard from Haynes (CA5) or Rosenbaum (CA11) for 2025-2026?
