Flaum hasn't rejected me yet, and I'd figure to be among the first candidates he can cut.

Did people reapply to Flaum if they had applied to his prior listing?

Re: 2021-2022 Clerkship Application Thread
What's the deal with early summer start dates for 2021 graduates? Are you expected to study for the bar at the same time you're beginning your clerkship, or are firms okay with you postponing it until after and joining at the same time as the first years?

That’s what I’ve heard about Sandra Lynch; I think this person is talking about Gerry Lynch, who is by all accounts a wonderful person and a wonderful boss.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Feb 19, 2021 10:11 pmI have heard Lynch is an extremely unpleasant person to work for, professors at my school have told students to avoid

That’s too bad. Flaum was the rare 2021 posting that I was looking forward to hearing back from. Guess Chin is our only hope for other 2021 coa hopefuls.

Honestly, I would expect movement to happen soon, if not already. His posting expired early last week and I would expect chambers to hustle since the positions start in six months.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:14 pmOn that note, anyone hear from or know anything about Chin?Anonymous User wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 3:11 pm

Personally, I haven't heard back, though that might have to do with my lackluster credentials than anything else (top 20% T14, d. clerkship in EDNY, 1 year WE).

Any news on Chutkan? Seems wild that she hasn't hired (or maybe even interviewed) yet.
