Judge Brody has made at least one offer (several weeks ago I believe). As far as I know Quinones has not moved yet.

do you know if Brody offer was accepted and if was HYS or if she tends to prefer HYS?

Also, seconded about Quinones that nobody has heard a peep, but not a lot of folks at my non-east coast school applying to Philadelphia judges that I know of so who can say.

Flaum updated his 2021 posting to accept apps until Halloween. Was hoping he'd move sooner. Guess he's trying to hold out for in-person interviews or something.

For what it's worth, top ~10% CCN + LR board/published. I only applied to competitive areas. I have one 9th Cir interview next week but otherwise haven't heard anything from district courts.

Is your 9th Cir one for 2021 or 2022? I’m wondering if Wardlaw, Nguyen, Thomas, Smith,Schroeder, Paez, Bybee, Bress, Berzon, Lee, Miller, Tallman and Bumatay are done interviewing yet or done extending invites I should say.

Lee was offering interviews pre-plan

So was Bumatay. He may be filled for 21-22. I know for a fact he had at least 2 spots filled a few months ago.

Bumatay is filled for 2021 and 2022.

She was interviewing weeks ago, so I'd given up then, but it's good that she's taking her time to find the right person.

(I did get a confirmation from Joel Flaum, whom a poster above mentioned, but I'm simply not qualified for that position and it's likely he sent that to everyone.)

Received the email even though I withdrew on OSCAR over a month ago. Just replied confirming my withdrawal.

Same for me and my friend, but I have several other friends who did not. I think they've been sending them out through the morning though--my friend got hers an hour before I got mine.

I just got Flaum but I applied after the first email went out. No Chutkan for me.

how do people cold apply? Ask clerkship office if they have his new contact info to send in an app?

He has hired people and so he obviously is (or was) accepting applications. I imagine he will be up on the SDNY website soon which should have an address and/or phone number if you don’t have a connection.
