It is sluggish at best. Each page may take over a minute to load, but will initially have a blank white page... tricky stuff and feels a bit archaic, ha ha.WhiteyCakes wrote:So who else can't access the UCAPP? I'm logged in and at the site, but I can't find it.

yes and yes. I'm on my.uchicago.edu, head to the finances tab, try to select "My Financial Aid", can't do anything after thatcwid1391 wrote:I assume you've already created your CNet, did you use your SSN as your ID?WhiteyCakes wrote:So who else can't access the UCAPP? It feels good to have my MalReynolds@uchicago.edu address. I think I'll enjoy that for a while before I sign up for student loans.

I apologize for the confusion; I thought you were talking about setting up the account. Here is where I am at:WhiteyCakes wrote:How did you find it....I think I'm doing it wrongPopTorts13 wrote:It is sluggish at best. 1. Go to --LinkRemoved--
2. Log in
3. Go to the "Finances" tab and select "Financial Quick Links" from the drop-down menu.
4. Choose "Loans/Financial Aid" and then "My Financial Aid"
Now this is when I receive an awesome "your login failed. We could not validate your Student ID." in the "log in" box.
Is this where you are at?

My SSN finally began working overnight.
Petty grievance, I wish our emails were @law.uchicago.edu.

Isn't law school notorious for listserv barf? That's my main motivation for using XMail, though I'm sure Gmail savvy folks could effectively filter law related stuff from personal stuff.ChampagnePapi wrote:Is there any reason to use XMail instead of Gmail? And can you change later?
Also, just applied for max federal loans. Hoping I don't come to regret this. I guessed 4 courses in each season except summer. Crap, it just occurred to me that I used last year's budget as my guideline.

I would probs walk up to a mile to save a dollar. I guess if we take that as a round-trip, that means my time is worth less than $1.50/hour to myself.
Hm, that's pretty bad.

Nice! It looks like you, LSATSCORES 2012, and I will all be getting there at more or less the same time. Someone else, too, although I forget who.Regulus wrote:I'll be moving in at the very beginning of July.elterrible78 wrote:Have thought about that a few times myself! I fortunately found a renovated 1BR with pretty much the shittiest view ever in Regents (which means it is super cheap but still comes with all the new stuff), which I'm pretty stoked about.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
