Just withdrew. Good luck to those still deciding and congrats to those headed to NYU in the fall! It's an amazing school and the choice to withdraw was difficult.

edit: unfortunately, my withdrawing doesn't free up any money for ya'll as the gave me a whopping $0.

Gonna be a long 1L year but I'm pretty excited about 2/3l in NYC, especially if you get that SA cash. Screw the loans, using the 20k on a students schedule in NYC is gonna be amazing.

I didn't get to attend any of the ASWs either so here's to hoping TLSers didn't lie to us in describing it as an amazing campus full of the best banners to ever come in contact with their eyes.

I wasn't a big fan of the campus - or lack thereof; you wouldn't know it was NYU's campus at all but for the banners - but the first ASW was awesome. NYU Law has a top-notch admissions department. I literally cried during one presentation because the speaker was so good.

Much better than Columbia's, but as the money goes...

The ASW I was at had Martin Lipton leading a panel of speakers. I just sat in that big conference room with 360 degree windows and pretended I was in a movie for an hour.

I'll be at NYU this fall. Went to ASW and they blew the Columbia half-assed attempt out of the water. Agreed that the Lipton panel was incredible; being in the same room as Evan Chesler is an experience I never even dreamed of having.

I just committed last Friday! Pretty excited about starting this fall.

Anyone else waiting for the housing application to get re-opened? Apparently it is shut down for maintenance until May 1st. I'm definitely doing dorms at least for 1L, any current NYU students have thoughts on D'ag v. Mercer? From what I've seen (crashed in D'ag, visited Mercer), D'ag has the advantage of being right next to campus but Mercer is a bit nicer and bigger. I'd be fine with either but leaning towards Mercer right now.

Housing application is down for now, I can't remember when it will be back up though. 1-4 days approx.
