So UVA denied my request to extend the deposit deadline... It just sucks that I have a pretty incomplete view of my cycle at the moment and still have to put down 500 bucks. Why the fuck is a) UVA's deposit more than everyone's deposit? (1000 total) and why is their first deadline so fucking early?

Yeah, it sucks. Just think of it as a $500 tax that you'd gladly pay if you end up getting into HYS.

Also, it's pretty ridiculous that schools can't get out a decision or at least a waitlist to people who applied in November.

I've had a ridiculously slow day at work today, so when I went to set up my UVa email I decided to make a few backgrounds for it. These could double as wallpapers if anyone is interested. If anything, it makes your Virginia email look way more legit haha. The small images are just previews, click the links for the hi-res shots. Also, the ones with the logos placed on the middle-left of the image are the best for use as a gmail background.

Yeah, that's where I thought it was. It's probably the closest you can get to the law school. Didn't know it was that cheap though.

Man, I am sorry, I wasnt trying to make it sound like I didnt believe you! I was actually just curious which ones you were talking about. As you can see, the Jeffersonian is actually closer. Also, the Arlington court condos are closer. BUT Jeffersonian is not an option if you dont already have a spot and Arlington Condos are hard to come by and much more expensive (about 1,100 - 1,200 a month).

Just so people know the walk from where OP has a place locked down is seriously less than 5 minutes to the front of the law school, amazing!
