I'm pretty okay with signing a lease though since I'm sure I'll be up at Cornell next year. Just hoping to find something I like close to the law school.
Ah, ok.
Good luck, then!

Sure, you're welcome to visit. What games are you bringing?
The essentials, in my opinion, are Mario Kart, Super Smash, Pokemon Stadium, and Blitz.

Excellent selection. The only thing I would add is Mario Party 2. And for some reason I never bought Blitz--I just rented it about 10 times.
I'm not bringing any games because I don't want to give myself extra distractions. But if someone else brings them and invites me over to play a few rounds, I'd be down.

+1 on Mario Party 2. I was never able to get into the Super Smash Bros. games for some reason.

For those who have apt hunted yet. If I don't mind spending ~1500 a month on a 1br / studio will I be able to find something decent even if I wait til june ish to look? Or are the pickings pretty slim. ?

Based on the few other leads I checked out before finding an apartment, I don't think you should have any issues. I checked into Collegetown Terrace's 1-bedroom prices and the square footage varies, but they cost about $1,300 or $,1400 for the smaller ones with heat and internet included.

and this is prime location for the school ? I'm totally fine spending that amount I just know I can't commit yet to housing. That looks very sweet though in the Terrace!

Hey (relatively) new to tls and going to cornell. How long after everyone sent in their deposit did it take for them to receive the housing info? I know Hughes is booked but i'd still like to fill out everything and get on the waitlist. Also hunting for potential roomates if anyone else is looking...Thanks!

And yeah, it's on that page under Graduate and professional students. Most people signed up before sending in their deposits because they had posted the link on the facebook page.

It's about a 15 minute walk to the law school but I'm pretty sure they have a shuttle. There should be more info on their website.
