For admitted students weekend, is there any way to stay with a current student like at other schools?

Also, when do pizza boxes come?! My acceptance letter is postmarked the 6th but I haven't gotten my box yet.

That all depends on where you live. I got mine just a few days after my purple envelope came, but for some it was a few weeks or longer. Those sticky notes are worth the wait though.

Anybody else still waiting to hear about RTK? Congrats to everyone who got an interview invite on Friday. Doesn't leave me with a lot of hope though...

Yeah, me. I'd love to believe they'll still make a couple more offers, but after two large waves of TLSers getting interview invitations, it feels like there can't possibly be many more left to give out, especially considering that the admissions office said they had given basically all of them out before this last batch on Friday.

Yea, at this point I think they are just hedging with a couple of us in case people decline the interview invite. I wish they'd at least just give me my aid package if I don't stand a chance. I'm going to choose to believe it's still possible that we will both get interviews!!

When I received a call from a current, a member of the WOCC, she said that if I was in need of somewhere to stay during AWS her apartment was available. I don't know if that is something that only certain student orgs are offering

For those of you that received your financial aid offers early on in February, what was the date by which you had to accept or decline the offer? I'm hoping that after that date, we'll see some more action for those of us appealing our offers.

Mercer's bigger/nicer. DaG is cheaper/closer

I just left work and walked down to NYU to get a feel for the dorm area. I've been down in that neighborhood countless times, but I never paid attention to the ambiance with an eye toward living there. I know it's been said before, but even though Mercer isn't very far away (less than a 5 min walk, though I walk pretty fast), it's a LOT quieter over there than it is around D'Ag, which essentially borders the NYU equivalent of frat row, along MacDougal.

Plus Mercer is right by the gym, which is nice. Super short walk to the law school from Mercer.

Posted this on the other thread, but incase anyone else is still waiting to hear about RTK, I was notified that I'm on the waitlist today and will hear next week if an interview spot opens up. So anyone offered an interview but wants to decline feel free.
