Agreed. As with quite a few things, Cornell's slow on this. Took them over a week to confirm that they had received my first seat deposit.

I'm going to send an email. I just want to be on record before the 25th.

I finally activated the BoA card I got from the last ASD.

This is a card that can be used for business purposes only. Your sponsor can monitor when and where you use the Card and will require reimbursement from you if you are not using the Card properly.

I'm going to be buying a lot of beauty products with this card; hope Cornell doesn't rescind my travel subsidy.

I can't find that line, but I doubt they care. FYI, I called to set the PIN, then tried to withdraw cash at a BoA ATM and it didn't work. I ended up used mine for refilling my metrocard, which worked out better anyway.

Just noticed that they finally updated the admitted students page to say Class of 2016 instead of 2015.

And I don't remember this part being there before:

By the time our students graduate they have often dined at the homes of faculty members, worked closely on an academic project with a faculty member or discussed in detail the upcoming season of the New York Yankees or Mets with a faculty member who is also a rabid Yankee or Mets fan.

Can't wait.

While sitting around waiting for a Columbia scholarship offer, I had plenty of time to think of all the reasons I would rather be in Ithaca next year. Faxing my deposit info. first thing in the morning.
