i was told that on our housing app, there would be a place for us to list or detail our preferences, but i didn't see a place for that anywhere on the app. what gives?

Just send them an email with any specifics, they'll add it to your file.

On the housing app, if you choose "yes" for the question "are you requesting law school housing" does that mean you are asking specifically for NOT UAH? Or can you still be considered for normal UAH if you click yes?

My understanding is that if you're requesting law school housing, then your application is dealt with by the law school housing people (Juliana Utley), but if you're not, your application is routed straight to UAH. I don't think there's a way to do an either/or on the application, but if you send Juliana an email, she can add a note to your file if you want to convey something more specific.

But now housing panic is setting in. To echo others, there's definitely less ability to give specific preferences and priorities than I thought there would be. I've emailed Juliana to confirm that I can add extra information to my file and to clear up the "requesting law school housing" question. Hope she gets back to me soon! I want to have this done today.

To add onto that--since all law students are guaranteed housing if they apply by May 1st, they'll automatically be assigned to UAH if spaces run out at Lenfest, Lionsgate, and the 400 block.

A studio in 420 116th is my first choice, so my furry friend can come with me. Second choice is cheapest possible 2/3 bedroom share. Both unfurnished. I can't go back to a single bed.

Good luck finding that. Only a gray or blue champion "Columbia Law" t shirt or sweatshirt and blue hat exist. And they look like the buildings at Columbia. Outdated.

It's listed under Columbia Law School -Class of 2016. You should be able to just search for it and then request to be added.
