So when do we think aid offers go out to January admits? Because it seems like the entire Committee is pretty much on skype all day.

Admitted students site says early March, hopefully it is very, very early march.

Every admit gets the same email about their financial aid package, that will show a breakdown of scholarships and loans you are eligible receive. If you get $0 in scholarships it shows the entire amount in loans.

For example, mine included:

Law School Scholarship
Federal Direct Stafford Subsidized Loan
Federal Direct Stafford Unsubsidized loan
Federal Direct Graduate Plus Loan

that added up to the total COA.

Edit: I guess I should mention that this was true for the 2011 entering class. We've since changed Financial Aid Directors so I guess it could be different, but I'd guess that it hasn't changed.

If you've already deposited, you might be able create one already: https://cnet.uchicago.edu/claimacct/use ... 1.terrapin

I can't yet -- it says my numbers aren't recognized (I haven't deposited/decided).

Wait what does this have to do with Amazon Prime? My free trial expired months ago so you have my attention.

So, for anyone who would consider the possibility of taking a course with Richard Epstein a plus, as per an email with him, he is contracted to be at the school next year, and anticipates being there for the next three (next year being included in that total).

Was really hoping that email was financial aid info or ASW schedule. Sadly I was disappointed on both counts

A target class of ~185 is about the same as past years right?

So I feel ready to officially end my cycle and accept at Chicago, but I have a question. Would sending in my deposit before financial aid offers are sent impact the amount of my reward? Not like I'm expecting much anyways, but I wonder if they take into consideration whether someone has already enrolled or not.

I honestly don't know if it would or not, but why risk it?

I agree, I shouldn't risk it. I was just hoping there would be no risk

Yeah I'd just wait it out and send it in after you have final scholarship offers from all schools.
