I took an entire pizza with me, don't worry about it.

Question about the Cornell financial aid sheet for those of you that have already sent them in.
Did you get a confirmation of its receipt? I put mine in the mail last week but haven't heard if they've gotten it or not.

Also interested in this since I faxed mine this afternoon and haven't gotten confirmation yet either.

Whats up everyone? As an admitted Cornell Law School Class of 2016 student, and a current undergraduate at Cornell University, I am strongly contemplating attending Cornell Law School next year. Of those people who have already decided to attend, has anyone started looking for apartments / roommates already? I am looking for apartments and hoping for 1 to 2 male roommates. PM me if you are interested.

I sent mine about a month ago - no confirmation. I did, however, call and ask about my status. Apparetly, they received it.

At this rate? Never.

Maybe late March. Maybe April.

Could anyone give some housing insight? Collegetown is the ideal location, but those prices seem ridiculous. Is it worth it?
Agreed. I can't imagine it's worth it though since there are places that are WAY cheaper just a little further.
I'm a commuting student. If you plan on using a car and parking, get ready for an incredibly long walk each morning. I walk fast and it takes me 15 minutes from the parking lot to the law school. If you get here before 9am you can usually get into a better parking lot and cut your time down to 10 minutes. This walk is often through freezing weather and snow. A parking permit costs $750 per school year.

If you live around the Commons you can take a bus ride that will drop you off right next to the school. It's relatively cheap and only takes about 5 minutes.

Overall, living far away form campus is nice. If the parking lots were closer it would be perfect.

I feel like the added cost of winter clothes/boots should be an added scholarship for those of us from the south. I am from Florida and don't even own a coat!

How well attended was the ASW? I'm trying to gauge whether to go to one or to visit on my own.

It seemed pretty packed to me; the moot courtroom was full. I'd recommend attending, as I found it quite enjoyable (waaaaay excited to start now).

I emailed mine in early February and got a confirmation email the next day.

Have any special thoughts?

I was only there for 5 minutes and got to see the one room. It looked comfortable, but I have a feeling that may have been one of the extra large rooms.
