When does lawmail come out? Not that I'm particularly interested in switching over from my current email. :S

I posted your question a minute after you made your post. Didn't realize it had already been answered. Cheers!CourCour wrote:I don't particularily understand your Q? Re: Georgetown 2016
Does anyone have any recommendations about finding a house in DC other than craigslist? We're looking for a 3 br which is a bit harder to find so I want to explore all I can.
Thanks! Moving in less than two months

Use padmapper. Its still craigslist but it makes it much easier to manipulate.luxxe wrote:Does anyone have any recommendations about finding a house in DC other than craigslist? We're looking for a 3 br which is a bit harder to find so I want to explore all I can.

Call a realtor then?
I couldn't handle stress of long distance apartment shopping. Hence, I'll be rocking it dorm room style next year.

I'd go the realtor route if you're not getting much luck with padmapper. Rent.com might be useful too

According to FB group, there was computer glitch which caused 1 week delay. Also, someone posted the housing people said they were starting to send out assignments today.boredtodeath wrote:Did anyone get housing assignments last week? The email said first week of June...

We may do that if we don't find somewhere a week or two into July! I think our biggest problem now is everywhere is available 7/1. I'm looking too soon, I know, but I just love apartment shoppingCourCour wrote:

My other 2 roommates are in DC, so I am the only one shopping from afar, thankfully!! We may be interested in getting a 4 bedroom if we find another roommate. If anyone may be interested in living with 3 20-something females let me know! We are looking in Bloomingdale/H St/U St, have a medium sized dog, and they are in DC working now!

Haha, as a guy, I think that would be a potential recipe for disaster. That said, good neighborhoods to look at. I'm finding the same thing with padmapper, but it's starting to open up now. The coming couple of weeks should find you something!luxxe wrote:We may do that if we don't find somewhere a week or two into July! I think our biggest problem now is everywhere is available 7/1. Even better, it is my roommate's dog, so I get to play with her and am not responsible for her unless I want to be
. I'll be happy to share my role as puppy-Aunt. She is seriously my favorite dog ever.
Pictures of her celebrating St. Paddy's for evidence, aka the last time I was in DC:

I am one of those annoying dog owners to a dog that isn't mine hahah.

My heart has melted. I'm one of those annoying dog aunts too. I'd post pictures of my parents dogs but I don't have picture privileges yet.luxxe wrote:I am one of those annoying dog owners to a dog that isn't mine hahah.
