Do you have to send your transcript if you're not a K-JD? In other words, since my LSAC transcript was already my final transcript, and they got that with my initial app, do I have to send it again? Just want to cover all my bases.

Ya, it seems ridiculous but they said it was because it was an ABA requirement that has nothing to do with LSAC

How silly. What do you think happens if I don't get it in by Thursday? Debating whether I need to shell out the extra cash and have my undergrad express-mail it, or rely on regular mail and have it arrive at NU next week.

yeah i think i had read in a thread from last years or teh class 2 years ago where they got so behind on paperwork that they couldnt even process paperwork till like a month in

Yeah I wouldn't think it's a big deal. I'm sending in my immunization stuff tomorrow. The Health Center or whatever told me they were super backed up anyway. I know it's not the same but similar. And then after that, I'd officially have all my paperwork in.

For people who have to order internet, what is everyone using? Is Comcast reliable/what everyone pretty much does? I saw that and CLEAR but I don't know much about the latter. U-Verse seems shitty.

Clear is that cellular shit, right? The only reason for getting that is if your building is ancient and has literally no other service.

Comcast or U-Verse, according to which company you want to probably loathe for the rest of your life. Comcast has faster options but is proportionally more expensive. (I don't know what their DVRs are like in Chicago, but in Oregon we had the basic shitty ones from like 10 years ago.) I've been happy with U-Verse, but others hate U-Verse and have been happy with Comcast (which I hate). They both will give you absolutely atrocious customer service at times, because that's what telecomm companies do.

I got the 6Mbps U-Verse plan to save money, figuring if I could reliably stream Netflix in HD, that was good enough. I haven't upgraded it yet. ymmv.

Is the vaccination issue a big deal? I thought I had it taken care of but I'm out of the country until August 12 and my doctor just told me I'll need to make an appointment to finalize everything, meaning I won't have it done until at least the 15th/16th. Just don't want it to block my registration or anything like that.

According to the Admission Health Record itself:
"7. Students who fail to submit the completed Admission Health Record, including proof of immunizations and fail to rectify deficiencies within 30 days after the start of classes will be:
- Assessed a non-refundable $100 late fee and
- In accordance with Illinois State law, barred from class registration for subsquent terms until compliant."

Apparently I already have TV so I think Comcast for an extra $5-10 and 50mbps might be worth it just to keep everything under one provider. Since I am completely ignorant about this type of tech stuff, what kind of router/modem should I look to purchase? Would the cheapest one at Best Buy suffice? Anything I could get on Amazon?
