After you're admitted, Johann pretty much disappears off your radar. Just FYI.moneyball026 wrote:haha - yeah...my vote goes to johann though.Cobretti wrote:I know who moneyball would pick for Shiva...Magnalum wrote:Not a lady, but what about admissions god Johann?

The fact that I come in here and you're planning your own shivabowl makes me so excited for you magnificent weirdos to arrive. That, and finally not being the most clueless person on campus
feel free to hit me up for any Assistance needed as you guys start settling in (except moving. Hell, I didn't even move my own stuff. Scarlett doesn't lift things.).

Guys seriously let's try to be a little more mature about this league. Making some random girl a trophy reinforces the objectification of women and has no place in law school.

Yes you qualify! But you have to at least be a little fun. And maybe bring a few ladies with you that can also kick objects far so I don't have to be the only lady that comes to most games.

I don't know about "super fun" but I can kick round objects really far. Do I qualify?

Raised in Monterey, CA. Picked up the game in high school because the team got to play Pebble Beach once a year (in addition to Spyglass, Poppy Hills, and Spanish Bay for other tourneys). Was a terrible golfer then, still terrible now.PBateman1 wrote:Any golfers in the incoming 1L class?

No I don't. I'm not too worried about coordinating with them though. Worst comes to worst I stay with family for a night.rinkrat19 wrote:Do you have your apartment keys already if you're arriving that late at night?Micdiddy wrote:Plane ticket purchased! Arriving at O'Hare Aug. 17th at 11:20 p.m.

Ah, good. I arrived in the morning and had to wait until my building's office opened...with a cat in a carrier. It would have been even more stressful late at night!Micdiddy wrote:No I don't. Yeah that sounds bad. We'll have our giant dog so we'll definitely need a place to go.
Question for those using or who used pods to move: was there an easy place for the company to park them?

Uhaul claims Chicago has an ordinance against leaving them parked on the street so they can't deliver it straight to your apartment. You can either pick it up from the distribution center and then unload it yourself and bring it right back, or you can hire movers to pick it up and bring it to your apt to unload and then return for you.Micdiddy wrote:Yeah that sounds bad.
