Has anyone been able to sign up for health insurance through Caesar? I feel like the e-mails indicated it would be possible to do so this month but either it's not working or I'm a dumb. I called and left a message with the insurance people but i figured I'd check in with TLS too.

This may be a dumb question, but can I adjust how much loans I take out during the year? I am planning on taking out 18k less due to savings, but I might want to take out even less, but I won't know until after a few months living in chicago.

pretty sure you gotta decide now cause the dispersements are done now. If it is just a couple grand i would err on the side of caution and take it out

anyone here down for going to the Cubs game on Sep 1 or 2? we will be done with orientation and i think a baseball game would be a good way to relax before school.

also baseball games are a great reason to drink for 3 hours during the middle of the day

You might have to do a month of COBRA with your current employer or go health-care-less for a few weeks and just avoid danger.

And I'm on board with the Cubs game idea.

Anyone here do ED at NU, or for applicants, thinking of doing it? The 50k a year deal sounds pretty sweet. If you did it or are considering it, what made you make the binding decision. I assume you could probably get into quite a few of the other T14 schools with the same numbers.

this is true... but we can at least pretend. You would think with the bulls, bears and even the blackhawks winning a lot recently somehow the cubs would find a way to not be mediocre.
