You didn't sign up yet? Yeah, that could be a problem if you can't log in.

Edit: After reading your last post, it doesn't seem like a big deal. I think it's because you were admitted later, so your charges will be on the next month's bill and you won't be able to access net.pay until it's generated, just like we weren't able to access net.pay until July 13th. That's actually one day later than the statement date on net.pay, so maybe you'll have access tomorrow or the next business day. Although I wonder if that means you'd get your refund later as well.

Of course, this is just speculation on my part. If other people who got in off reserve around the same time have been able to access net.pay, then I'm wrong.

Where's our student ID number ? womp womp I'm so out of it.

edit: it's under our student center -> demographic.

why would i look there?

ty undergrads who write on college confidential

e2: On the bursar net.pay bill it says that the charges are 30,148.68. How does that work ? I thought tuition is 57xxx so divided by semester it'd be a smidge over 25k ? Is the bill factoring in CoL or something ?

They're a mess, over there. You call one office and then they connect you to a million other people. It's really odd. Just like my undergrad, really... I'm just going to borrow to cover the health insurance and pocket the extra money for CoL for the first semester.

I thought the tuition was due the 8th but the latest bill actually says it's published on the 9th and due in September (on the 7th or so iirc)

Just a message to my hughes residents. I hope you guys aren't going to gun too hard because u've already passed our Cornell class thread by 20 pages before school started. Last year in Hughes we set a new record for having the most fun. I want that trend to continue. :D

Edit: Just checked, and I'm responsible for 10 pages of this thread.

Also, it's a c/o 2016 thing. We can't help having more posts. We're so sociable, our TLS Class of 2016 thread got Lounged. 8)

I have come into possession of an expertly, nearly obsessively, tabbed and annotated Clermont Black Letter Outline, and would like to sell it to an incoming 1L to benefit. It's owner received an A in Clermont's class, and I can attest this is well executed. Significant marginalia may be hard to follow without some time investment. PM me if interested.

Also, http://www.amazon.com/The-Curmudgeons-G ... ticing+law is great. The section on writing is like a hyper distilled version of everything you learn in lawyering.

Sounds like something you'd recommend.

Yap I think so. I opted out a while ago so I'm surprised it's still reflecting that.. Oh well. Yeah I guess so. Thanks!

I paid the heath insurance costs even though I recently submitted an appeal - I figured they didn't have enough time to process the information to get the health insurance off my bill. I've also been assuming that, once my appeal is processed, the health insurance costs will be returned to me via direct deposit. Am I wrong? Should I contact the bursar about this?

I believe that's correct. It should show up as a credit in a later bill and be returned to you. After all, the deadline to waive it is September 30th, so it's probably normal to have it show up on a later bill.
