Longshot, but has anybody successfully used a Cisco Model DPC3010 for the free internet in Regents?

Thanks! In that case, is anyone familiar with wrt dd?Regulus wrote:I haven't, but I doubt that a cable modem will be the limiting factor in your connectivity, especially if it is a DOCSIS 3.0 modem (which the Cisco DPC3010 is). This won't make much of a difference at the lower speeds, but it you decide to upgrade the 3.0 will be nice to have. What you really need to worry about is which type of router you buy: make sure to get something with decent range, because depending on your apartment, the walls and studs here can greatly limit how far your router's signals can reach.naw wrote:Longshot, but has anybody successfully used a Cisco Model DPC3010 for the free internet in Regents?

Big thanks to Reg and his wife for hosting last night. Supplies for next time:
• Games (anything but Set)
• Banana cream sandwiches
• Ice cream that doesn't make me sweat
• Locker roster (and copies of a certain spreadsheet)

I'd be down for hosting the next one! Only dates that wouldn't work for us would be the 30th-1st.WhiteyCakes wrote:Big thanks to Reg and his wife for hosting last night. Supplies for next time:

SO and I moved in about a week ago but had to immediately leave for some business. We'll be back to reside sometime next week and I'll be interested in meeting y'all.

Finally, a date I will actually be in town for.
Also, has anyone rented furniture from Cort? Did you feel like it was a good deal/easy?

Intense, dude. If Saturday the 7th is better for people, we can absolutely do that instead!Regulus wrote:cwid1391 wrote:Running your multitude of cat cafes?Regulus wrote:(I have some out-of-state business I have to take care of towards the beginning of that week)I wish it were because of something awesome like cat cafes, but alas... I am actually still working during the summer at my current job. It is a pretty sweet deal where they let me work remotely whenever I want from home. The bad part is that I deal with a lot of confidential data (industry secrets), so they won't let me send my computer back to them when I'm done - I have to physically drive the damn thing back to headquarters.

Exam schedule is up. Helpful for travel plans, 'cause now I know it's cool to book a flight on the 17th.
(although secretly I'm super paranoid I'm reading it wrong and making a terrible mistake)

You can definitely book a flight on the 17th
or even late on the 16th, if you're daring
Autumn quarter is really not that bad, guys. But two years ago I was also freaking out, so I understand

And fleeing the state is a perfectly understandable response to an 8 hour Hubbard exam.Xifeng wrote:You can definitely book a flight on the 17thor even late on the 16th, if you're daring

Re: Chicago Law Class of 2016
Has anyone who's already moved into Regents gotten in at night? I'll have my car loaded with stuff so I don't really want to have to stay at a hotel. I'm wondering if they'll just leave my check in stuff with the concierge.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
