I know multiple people who did the PAWS thing last year and liked it across the board more than the other activities that we did.

I had not realized cat cafes were a thing. Wow, that's a great idea.Regulus wrote:Yeah... once I saw "playing with animals" I don't think there was really any question as to which activity I would sign up for. It was at PAWS Chicago last year. They had us do some minor grunt work when we first got there (filing, putting together those cones they use on sick dogs), but most of our time was spent with adorable furry creatures.

Were most of the activities fairly evenly represented?2014 wrote:I know multiple people who did the PAWS thing last year and liked it across the board more than the other activities that we did.

Maybe you're right. We should take more of our social cues from Japan. I'm gonna go buy tickets to a pedo-hologram concert.

The one that corresponds to "clerical work" was pretty sparsely attended if I remember correctly. I think there are set spots for each one though and the class participation rate is high so most of them probably fill whatever they can hold.cwid1391 wrote:Were most of the activities fairly evenly represented?2014 wrote:I know multiple people who did the PAWS thing last year and liked it across the board more than the other activities that we did.
Also sign me up for the crowd who is glad cat cafes have not invaded America.

I like the standardization. We may not know the professors yet, but we know our entire schedule (classes+times) unless we get the unsynced LRW.

Civ Pro I with Hubbard or Buss - MWTh 11-12:05
LRW with Lakier, Buccola, Chilton, Rappaport, or Reilly - MW 1:30-2:35 or LRW with Ford - WTh 1:30-2:35
Elements with Stone, Strauss, or McAdams - TF 10:35-12:15
Property with Penalver or Strahilevitz - TF 1:40-3:20

I'm trying to figure out what the hell I'm gonna do with all this time. That's an amazing schedule and it doesn't seem like we will be in class too long.

I'm pretty sure Jaqen just meant the section with Ford on Wednesday and Thursday. All the other sections are on Tuesday Wednesday.ChampagnePapi wrote: What's unsynced lrw?

No one ever believes it because people like to bitch about being stressed and stuff, but you have a shit ton of free time in law school. I never got behind on TV or drinking with the exception of the like week leading up to finals in any given quarter, maybe 2 weeks in spring.Mal Reynolds wrote:I'm trying to figure out what the hell I'm gonna do with all this time. Chicago does schedules right. Plus, 9:30 torts will be the most entertaining class you've ever taken. Not bad to start the day with.
