Yup, that's fine with me too.
BTW, are you in Regents, or where are you living?

I've got to walk about a mile to the train station tomorrow morning around 4 to get to the airport. In other words, it's been nice knowing you guys!

Some but not all people have had roach infestations that are not immediately noticable... roaches come out at night. Once one gets them the maintenance doesnt show up until wednesday to spray. Roaches are likely to return months later as well. There are plenty of us living here but I regret my decision to.

Maybe... I feel like it said 1-day instead of 2-day, but I'm not 100% sure. I do know it's only for some packages, not all of them.

FWIW, I have been here a few weeks, up at all hours, and have never seen a roach in my place. Also, I have had 0 problems with the free internet. I do have some spiders on the outside of my windows, but they really don't bother me at all. Management does seem to be a little iffy, but the couple problems I have had were resolved pretty quickly.

Tyft. I'm supposed to move in next week but I've been getting cold feet from all these posts + the FB group.

Yeah, Regents gets a pretty bad rap, and it might very well be deserved, I don't know. I can just speak from my own experience, and my own experience has been relatively pleasant. Good luck, whichever way you go!

AT&T 3G MicroCell has also given me flawless cell reception since switching modems/routers. Like elterrible, I do not have any roach issues (I am in the North Tower, though). I wonder if it has anything to do with the 4th floor on the South Tower being the "dog floor" and thereby making it more prone to dirty little critters

Is that the base/included internet package?
I hope you're right re: roaches. I'll be on a floor in the teens in the North Tower.

No problems with internet here.
The South Tower is pet-friendly up to floor 10. Roaches live/breed in dark spaces. The cabinets in some of the units are older and have several gaps beneath them, perfect for them to settle beneath one's cabinet...one can see such if they get on there knees and take a look. From there, they feed on leftovers in the home and continue to breed. All do respect, I doubt this has as much to do with dogs as it does Regents doesn't update their "animal floors" like they do the others. Traveling to the non-pet-friendly floors is like traveling to an entirely different property. I'm sure the renovated kitchen units wont have as many roach issues as well. I'd check for those tid-bits. As el terrible stated, I can only speak to my experience as well. Best of luck

Are there pet floors in the North Tower? This is why we shouldn't let disgusting beasts live in the same places as humans. I put a request in to have them send out exterminators to my unit just in case. I'm very happy to hear that the internet is working well.

FYI for anyone opening new bank accounts, Chase is offering a $200 coupon for new checking customers. I just did it today.
