ETA: I checked, and the Glass Menagerie box is not checked. But the transcripts box has a check. I sent in my Glass Menagerie photo the night they requested it. Oh well, in my mind I have a big, red,

Lies. They don't give false deadlines.Mal Reynolds wrote:July letter is out. And boy am I glad they extended the glass menagerie photo. I definitely missed that first deadline.

I got mine, haven't had any trouble, but the app I sent them was included with my graduate housing lease, so if you're not in graduate housing don't know what you're supposed to do.robot_socrates wrote:Anyone else trying to get a parkig permit? I've emailed their office twice now without a reply. I figure I should call them next week to force some action, but the "you can email the parking office at any time" bit in the news letters feels pretty misleading.
I'm glad it's worked out so well for you. I'm not living in graduate housing, so I didn't have an app sent to me. Its been almost a month since I sent out my first email, so I think I have been more than courteous in giving the parking office time to respond. Upon further review, I can't even call the office until my summer job ends in august because I work M-F from 5:45-3:15 and the office is only open M-F from 9-3. Just my luckLSATSCORES2012 wrote:I got mine, haven't had any trouble, but the app I sent them was included with my graduate housing lease, so if you're not in graduate housing don't know what you're supposed to do.robot_socrates wrote:Anyone else trying to get a parkig permit? Generally speaking, all the departments seem to take about a week to get back to you by email, but I haven't had any trouble when I call.
If you are trying to get a permit for one of the school lots, you might be waiting a while. The office only does audits of the lots at certain times of the year, and then release spots after that. They are also not the most responsive department at the school. You should probably just fill in an application online listing your first and second preferences for lots (probably Harris and SSA?) and then be prepared to wait.robot_socrates wrote:Anyone else trying to get a parking permit? Congrats!beepboopbeep wrote:It feels weird since I've been posting in this thread for a while, but in off the waitlist today. No word yet on aid - not quite part of your ranks yet.

Chicago starts later than any other school that I know of - Sept. 29, IIRC. Orientation starts mid-September.senorhosh wrote:I'm on the WL.. It's a long shot but need to plan out just in case... I was wondering when is the check in date and first day of class for chicago? Thanks!

I'll be there first week of September, moving into (the apparently roach-infested) Regents.Mal Reynolds wrote:I'm moving first week of September, or thereabouts.cwid1391 wrote:Is anyone else not moving until September? I didn't realize so many people would be moving in so early.
