DF, you're my hero. I had a prof who consistently used begs the question incorrectly on almost a daily basis.

I know when I'm sliding a narrow piece of fabric between my cheeks, my primary concern is that it was made in USA!

Timeframe: the morning that Legal Writing assignments are passed out and everyone's been in class for the past two hours + about half an hour for lunch.
"Oh, I've already read the first of the two cases for the Legal Writing assignment. I'm such a dork..."

Asking a "question:"
I understand that you mean A (super long paraphrase)
And I also understand you when you say B (longer paraphrase)
But does that mean that you are saying C? (even longer paraphrase)
Professor: yes.

To be fair, this is my strategy to get the professor to stop calling on me.hichvichwoh wrote:Asking a "question:"

The book is really good. It explains legal/logical concepts to regular people in a way that's super easy to understand. It was one of the only things, if not the only, that I enjoyed reading as a 1L.PrincetonBound wrote:Do official Facebook groups count for this bingo? QFT. Just one of these in each class can get you a few weeks reprieve from cold call stress.Fark-o-vision wrote:To be fair, this is my strategy to get the professor to stop calling on me.hichvichwoh wrote:Asking a "question:"

Also, I heard "when I was working on my thesis..." so many times in 1L, it still makes me kind of sick to think about.
