I asked to join that group like a month ago and was never accepted. There are only 7 members.LSATmakesMeNeurotic wrote:http://www.facebook.com/groups/173717806073404/Jitterbug wrote:Also, is there a FB group set up yet?

Edited the OP to include a link to the Fall 2012 course schedule. It has the schedule and professors for every section! I know it's a little early, but it's good for those of us who want to start buying supplements over summer so we aren't spending a ton of money on books all at one time.

I just realized that the former Moderator of the facebook group has decided to attend elsewhere and left the group. I just made myself the moderator and accepted several requests to join the group. So everyone join... UF Law Class of 2015 on facebook!

Re: University of Florida Class of 2015
Not going to UF Law but from Gainesville and a Gator alum. Look into houses for rent anywhere between W 34th street and Main Street (N of University and S of 16th Ave. There are a few distinct neighborhoods here. Between 34th and 22nd you have a heavily wooded neighborhood where each road backs up to a protected forest. Between 22nd and 13th you have "College Park" which is arguably the most happening residential area in town. Lots of grad and undergrad students live here and the houses are eclectic. This area does get rowdy on game days but it's tons of fun. Between 13th and Main you have older southern houses with lower rent and more character (think wraparound porches and red brick churches). You'll also see lots of neon painted fixed gear bicycles, if you know what I mean. All of these areas are no more than 10 minutes on a bike from the law school. Oh and do not live in Camelot. It's ancient and hideous. Same goes for Hawaiian Village. Also, avoid anything SW of Archer and 34th. It's far from everything except Butler Plaza, devoid of character, and filled with bros.

I'm looking at the Continuum as well. Seems close enough (5min by car) and the place looks really nice. Price isn't too bad considering its all-inclusive (cable, internet, electricity, etc.)

By what date do we need to accept our loans (Unsub. Stafford)? How do we even go about doing that? It's been difficult for me to get ib touch with someone in Financial Aid

If you sign on to Isis, you can choose to reduce or cancel your loans for the semester. I believe you just have to cancel before the loans are disbursed, which is around the time of the week before classes (ie: ILSP).Geaux12 wrote:By what date do we need to accept our loans (Unsub. At my current school I chose to keep some of my loans and return the rest. I was able to do this the first week of school, after it was all disbursed.Geaux12 wrote:By what date do we need to accept our loans (Unsub. Stafford)? How do we even go about doing that? LSATMakesMeNeurotic, would you say that most people live alone or with roomates? Would it be considered weird to live alone?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
