Re: Seattle University
I am a current 1L student at SU and will be subletting my apartment this summer for June and July. Subletting dates are fairly flexible, you could move in in May and our lease is up in September if you need extended time to find housing. I live about a mile from Campus in a nice 2bed/2bath gated condo next to a park. One of my roommates will also be living in Seattle this summer taking classes and working. We live near a coffee shop and in walking distance to a grocery store. There is street parking, but we also have a covered parking spot. If you are interested please e-mail me at scharerk@seattleu.edu.
Info
Rent: $750 per mo. plus utilities (around $30 a month)
2bed 2bath apartment
Available Parking
In unit washer/dryer
Bedroom can be furnished if necessary.
Please contact me at scharerk@seattleu.edu

Me too! I'm living in Queen Anne. Where are you?akakak wrote:well hello. i'll be starting full time in august and living off campus. looking forward to meeting you all!
A question for all:
Are you guys scared of all the big T14 talk around here, and the seemingly general consensus that SU won't get us anywhere?
I disagree with that statement myself--I plan to kick ass, have fun with the material (and people!), and hopefully get a not-too-terrible job at the end. What a ride we're about to take though!

Re: Seattle University
Right now, I'm interested in Criminal, Employment/Labor, and perhaps Elder Law since I have a professional background in it. I'd like to do IP but do not have a technical UG major or minor (english and history--so useful!). No idea whether I want to do public or private, I'm thinking private since I don't really feel a passion to survive the nightmarish stories that I hear from public defenders and such.atcushman wrote:I am starting in june through the early summer start crim law class...I know they say it is way to early but what kind of law are you guys interested in have you guys looked at any of the focus areas?
For all who are moving to Seattle--lucky you! I've lived here for 7 years and never looked back. Beautiful city, great people, interesting places to go--it'll be a great place to live while you go to school.

Can't attend spring day, unfortunately...got work.
Very glad I found this site, btw. The negativity helped steel my mind against the sour job prospects and the intensity I'll soon be facing with this undertaking. All the guides and everything really help too!

I thought it was pretty interesting I wish the 15 minute talks were a little longer but I liked the mock class...some of the people who got called one were pretty interesting, it makes me less worried about the curve...it was also cool to meet some of the club people even though I have not heard back from any of the groups I gave my email too

Have a question about laptops - does anyone know if the new Macbook Air is compatible with all the examination programs that will be used for finals?
Thanks for any answers!

Re: Seattle University
From what i've heard about half the students have Macs... since the air is the new "standard" version of mac, it should be fine.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
