For the people who still haven't heard, when were you guys accepted? I know I was only accepted on Friday, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to make a decision without knowing about financial aid. Hmmm...

Yeah, I emailed them a couple of days ago, they sent the financial aid email out today and also sent me an email saying they'd get back to me either today or tomorrow. So I'm guessing you'll get it soon.

But no merit based aid sucks. Will negotiate like a boss, and hope it turns out okay. As far as negotiation is concerned, do I lay all my cards out on the table at once? Like $75k at Fordham, $114k at WUSTL, $21k at UT-Austin, I really want to come to Cornell but I need money type of email?

I realize my application probably hasn't even gotten to them yet. Do they only send out merit based aid once they have received and evaluated your financial aid information sheet? Not that I really expect to get any... And can you let me know how negotiating goes for you? I've got $60k schools in the t20, but I haven't gotten anything from anyone in the t14.

Gore mountain and Whiteface seem to be close enough for a nice weekend trip (they are 4-5 hours away), but otherwise seems like I'll have to content myself with the small mountains you listed. If you are going to Cornell we should definitely go shred together once in a while. I snowboard as well.
i ski and definitely plan on doing so to relieve stress!! road trips could be fun too, i'll have a car. also in nyc and was hoping to be closer to mountains too but oh well

also, do any law students live in lansing, cayuga heights, or near the lake? or is that too far?
Great, we already have a small ski group :D

Nope. lol at getting it "1-2 weeks after getting your info submitted."

I hope the delay means they're actually considering my other offer, but we'll see.
