Hey summer starters!

I have a sweet apartment that will be available for summer sublet from June 1 until a few days before the start of fall semester. It is about a 3 minute walk from the law school. One bedroom, living room with tons of light, small kitchen, small bathroom, and AN OFFICE! Fully furnished (I'll even leave you with my TV, xbox, and all of my text books/supplements). $775/month. Everything included except for internet which is shared with another apartment in the house and runs $20/month. There is a parking space out back that will run you $50/month if you want it. PM me for more info and pictures. You can also come see it if/when you come out for ASW.

Don't know where that came from (although I do remember hearing it) but per the website that's our summer schedule.

So...I'm not going to ASW.

Are there any alternative airports that are still within reasonable distance you can check? I almost wrote off Michigan's visit until I checked an airport (departure) that's ~1.5 hrs away rather than 45 minutes...the fare dropped from over $500 to a tad under $300, then when I checked for another airport ~2 hrs away, it dropped again to just over $250.

I was excited when I read your initial post, too... confused about the Civ Pro thing, but excited none the less... Then, as I continued reading, I got back to really just wanting to know the full schedule. I know good things come to those who wait, but, I don't want to wait.

Good luck... I've found this part to be the most problematic... I've been looking since December and I've still yet to find anything suitable, though I'm trying to find a house for my family, not just a place for myself, which I assume to be much easier.

Yeah it's just lonesome ol' me! So I'm probably gonna sublet, and then lease a 1bd maybe in one of the four reserved apts. I'm not gonna be at ASW so I'm not sure how I'll find a sublet just yet...

I can't make it to ASW but am interested in finding a roommate for one of the 1L law buildings. I'm looking for a non-smoking roommate who likes to have fun and wants to have a nice apartment - but still is serious about school work and the need for peace and quiet. I'm coming directly from undergrad and will definitely miss the party scene - but am looking forward to studying at Michigan Law. Anyone else looking?
