Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
Just filled out the Need Access form. Not the easiest form I've ever had to fill out, they ask a lot of questions. Also, I can't believe you need to pay $28 for "NEED ACCESS" aid. Seems a bit oxymoronic.

Still waiting to hear back from a few schools, but Mich is definitely my top choice out of the schools I've been accepted to thus far. Sooooo much better than UVA. Can't wait for ASW!JoeMo wrote:Congratulations! Will you be joining us?Geneva wrote:In via status checker! ECSTATIC!

Ugh. I got to page 2 or 3 before throwing my hands up in frustration. I really need to call them this week.JoeMo wrote:Just filled out the Need Access form. Hey fellow Michigan Admits,
I'm planning on attending the March 15-17 ASW, but by the time I tried to RSVP on the admitted students website, Michigan no longer had any housing available for those dates. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the 29-31 weekend so I'm planning on getting a hotel in Ann Arbor myself so I can still attend.
Is there anyone else out there planning to attend the 15-17 ASW that would like to split the cost of a hotel room for the 3 nights with me?
I'm male, 28 years old.
PM if you are interested.

They will subsidize the hotel to $20 (although I've read here that reservations have all filled up, so you may be out of luck). They'll also feed you, but travel is on you.Fortuitous wrote:any chance that mich will throw money in the direction of out of state ppl for asw? just got in yesterday but need to attend the first asw....oy

Yep, flights were cheaper Sunday morning.sandiego222 wrote:Question about admitted students weekend... everything seems to end Saturday morning. Anyone staying Saturday night???
Now I'm faced with the following problem: St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, and early morning Sunday flight, and work on Sunday afternoon. I'll be crashing with friends who will most definitely be having a good time. Should be interesting

Your admission should be revoked. This is what you should've been doing months ago.Geneva wrote:I've been reading Dean Z's blog at work instead of writing LOCI to other schools...can't seem to tear myself away...

Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
Just completed the financial aid form thing on the admitted student's website. It says I'm not eligible for grant assistance. Does this mean I'll be receiving nothing from Michigan at all?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
