I know right! I'm still there, going to look at housing today around the gold coast to see if I can find somethiing cheaper than the onnes they showed us, hopefully I make up my mind and put a waiting list deposit!

ASW was awesome, you guys! Even though a lot of the info was redundant for me, having been here last year, I am so glad I came to meet MY future classmates. Class of 2015 seems like a great group.

Agreed. It was great to meet everybody. I'm even more satisfied with my decision to go to Northwestern now (which is saying something).

I spoke with Tyler, who heads up StudentSpace, during the housing tour; he did say that there was a lesser-known building up on Delaware St. (less than a 5-minute walk to campus) that exclusively rented out studios. Although the view and space is smaller than what we've toured, he mentioned that the cost is substantially lower. I've emailed him to get more info on that and other places.

A couple of you mentioned rent cost as a large concern, so just throwing it out there if anyone wanted me to relay specific information. I live downtown and will be touring apartments frequently, so if someone had specific concerns about if a building was clean or aesthetic (going back to our smoke conversation), I could stop by and take pictures or something.

I'm actually pretty excited for this- a half marathon was my new years resolution and I've been slacking like mad.
