I just realized that I own a Muck Fichigan shirt. After watching that video for the second time I felt the most massive pangs of guilt and regret. (e.g., http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8ISzf2pryI)

I'm not a summer starter but I'm in love with this complex. So beautiful and lot more aesthetically pleasing that the 1L apartments appear to be. Do you happen to know if any units will be available in the fall?Ljsmith2 wrote:Congrats on getting in, all!

From when I looked on the site about a week ago there were a few units that said available in September. So you might have to find accommodations for orientation but definitely look into it. I was planning on doing the same because the apartments look a lot less student-ish than the ones from Prime. However, I would have to see the apartment in person before committing. I've never been able to commit to living anywhere just from looking online.Killingly wrote:I'm not a summer starter but I'm in love with this complex. Looking to Sublet My Apartment for the Summer
Address is 335 S. Division Street (between Williams and Liberty). Largest room in the 4 BR, 2 Bath apartment. My room includes a deck, minifridge, queen-size mattress, hookah, and parking space. Apartment has a large Vizio HD flatscreen (42"), two refrigerators, and two couches. I'll be moving out in May, so any time after that works. $700/mo but I'm very willing to negotiate. PM me for pictures.
Congrats to everyone on being accepted, looking forward to seeing you in the fall.

Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
Reason #5439 why I love Michigan: they actually mean it when they say that ED-ers aren't at a disadvantage for merit aid. I was accepted as a reverse splitter, bumped my LSAT up to 172 in Dec., and got the same dean's scholarship that they typically give to people with my numbers.
Anyone pay their enrollment deposit and get the mailed confirmation letter? It's a form letter addressed to Ms. (my last name), which Dean Z crossed out and wrote in my first name instead. I LOLed... such a cute touch!

That is awesome. I'm hoping I'll get some aid for Michigan.Fate to Fatal wrote:Reason #5439 why I love Michigan: they actually mean it when they say that ED-ers aren't at a disadvantage for merit aid. I would have lived in the LC just to because it seems like it would be fun to be around everyone else. But not gonna lie, I was not looking forward to going back to cafeteria food..planeride wrote:Too bad about the Lawyers Club. I'm not even sure I would want to live there but it still feels like c/o 2015 is missing out.
How important is drinking to law school culture (at Michigan, or in general)? I don't partake (for medical reasons) and some of the threads here are making me a little nervous on that front.

Yep, they gave me 30k scholly ED despite me being at sub-par numbers to start with. She also crossed out my last name and wrote my last on the form letter.Fate to Fatal wrote:Reason #5439 why I love Michigan: they actually mean it when they say that ED-ers aren't at a disadvantage for merit aid.
