168 3.8 got me a scholly, but I also had some need. If you have no demonstrated need, don't expect cash money.msblaw89 wrote:No scholarship... I am shocked at both 75ths...

I mean, on the one hand, yah. Did you negotiate with them at all? Inform them of your full ride at WUSTL etc? If they're obviously your best choice (which they are going to be) and you didn't bother to show them you at least have cheaper options, why should they offer you money?msblaw89 wrote:Even. I did inform them my wustl full ride / other awards. Disappointed, I really really want to choose Cornell.Arbiter213 wrote:I mean, on the one hand, yah. Did you negotiate with them at all? You still got nothing? Damn. E-mailed them with a WUSTL offer yesterday, but now I seriously doubt I'll get anything.top30man wrote: I did inform them my wustl full ride / other awards. Disappointed, I really really want to choose Cornell.

75k
At median GPA, above 75% LSAT
After working out the cost of attending, the difference over three years between Michigan and Cornell (each with some $) is $7,050.
Would I pay 7 grand NOT to live in Ithaca? You betcha!

That was a really superb story. If you have time, you should definitely tell it againCampagnolo wrote:75k

Erg. Above both 75ths & I got 36k. Same stats as someone else who got 75k ITT. I guess that is merit + need since I wouldn't qualify for any need based? Or Cornell values me substantially less.Campagnolo wrote:75k

169 is the loneliest number.

Haha luxxe. I feel like you and I could write a book entitle "the sad plight of a 169". There is a cavernous, massive separation between a 169 and a 170.luxxe wrote:Erg. Above both 75ths & I got 36k. Re: Cornell Law Class of 2015
If your profile stats are accurate, your LSAT is at the 50th percentile, not 75th. You might be able to still get money but will prolly have to leverage other scholarships from comparable schools (ie T14, Texas, UCLA).msblaw89 wrote:No scholarship... I am shocked at both 75ths...

I was wondering about this too...Looks like Collegetown is really over-priced for what you get. And living with roommates (to keep costs down) seems pretty risky for 1L. Any thoughts from people that are knowledgeable about Ithaca housing?sf88 wrote:For those who are pretty sure about Cornell, where's everyone thinking of living?
