I edited the document to reflect an Alternate Section 1 & 4. However, my guess (and its only a guess) is that the original five sections are the correct ones seems it just seems intuitive that NYU would list them in corresponding order with the other sections. There's no reason for them to be tricky, and IMO its likely that they put them in section-order.
haha, that's awesome, nice detective work. looks like all those lsat logic games really paid off

Haha thanks--it really was very easy. Anyone think any section has a better schedule than the others?
4 because I hate waking up early, though I'd rather not have Contracts first semester

Plus section 4 has Epstein + AMiller

Isn't there a way to sort of figure out what your section will be ahead of time? At least, before orientation?
I have a feeling I'll get section five.

the main thing I'm nervous about is finding LONG-TERM HOUSING after my sublease is over
that and that I'll forget to do something like immunizations and they won't let me come!

You guys might be able to figure out which section you are in by going here:
https://www.bookstores.nyu.edu/WKSCRIPT ... ER.PROCESS and following the instructions to see what books you have to buy. The course numbers will tell you at least if you have crim/torts and probably will make it so you can guess your professor.

still pretty impressive. I'm taking out max loans (minus scholly) the first year, and maybe more if I get a COL adjustment, then having my wife support me once she gets a job

When did everybody get the email with the immunization forms? Can anyone tell me what it's called?
I'm having trouble finding the forms and turns out they're due in a week.
It's understandable that I'm worried, right?

It was sent in snail mail, but here:
http://www.nyu.edu/shc/forms/
you need the MMR and meningitis ones (I called them today after realizing I had lost the forms)

Meningitis? I had a self-history one and one I sent to my doc to fill out and sign, but I remember nothing about meningitis. Out of state 'til the 18th, so I hope I didn't overlook something.
ETA: Jam, I looked at your link and I definitely was not sent that second page (where the form actually is) and my MMR didn't look like that. Mine was all bubble-sheety. Now so confused.

I'm trying to figure out what people (women) wear to class and to orientation. I'm a few years out of college and don't have a clue. Sorry this is so mundane a question.

Certain parts are fairly casual, but some things are a little more dressed up if it's like the other orientations I've heard of. birdlaw could answer this better.

this is an old letter so the dates are wrong. I'd assume the dress code stuff is probably the same or similar.

I have a question about computers. Laptops, specifically. Ultrabooks, even more specifically.
I'm bringing my desktop as my main computer. I have a years-old laptop that I assume still works but weighs something like 6 pounds and has ME or Vista or something terrible as an OS, so I was figuring I'd buy a new one. The specs on the recommended systems are rather more than I would think would be necessary for a little word processing and web browsing. I'd like to get an Ultrabook, but I'm not going to spend an arm and a leg, so I guess my question is, do you think a little less processing power/hard drive space would be a problem? I wouldn't think so, but maybe there's something I'm missing?
I leaning toward an ASUS Zenbook UX31-ESL8 at the moment.
