Makes the decision more complicated.

Hahaha, right?! I got all excited when I opened that e-mail attachment. A Dean's Scholarship would've been sweet...catwomangirl wrote:I got the same one. Only deans candidates hear back this week, the rest should hear by the end of the month.

So I can stop obsessively checking my email now? All right.
I'm not a deans candidate; will there be any money left for me?

Dean's Scholarships (or at least some of them) went out via email on Friday. Deadline to accept is April 2nd; more money might free up then.

No I'm sure lots of people will hear earlier. Main point of my post was to let people know that Dean's Scholarships had happened.
I'm sure that Cornell gives out a given number of Dean's Scholarships under the assumption that a given percentage of them will be turned down. If more of them are turned down than normal then perhaps Cornell might have some extra funds lying around after April 2nd. Hope that helps.

Re: Cornell Law Class of 2015
I believe there's a sheet you can send in the case your parents don't have their taxes filed. PLUS, you have to at least send in 2010's taxes and then send in 2011's once they're in. Although they said they will adjust your financial aid package accordingly with the changes. So that means if they offer you 20k at first, they can lower that shit to 1k after you send in the new taxes if there's a difference.DBishops wrote:Sorry if this has already been covered. Speaking of sending in tax returns, any one the exact name/address we're supposed to send them to? This is it right?

Not related to the law school in the slightest, but what does everyone think about the new tech campus that Cornell is building in Manhattan? http://www.cornell.edu/nyc/ Cornell beat out Stanford, Columbia, and Carnegie Mellon.

ETA: Top 10 are the same, unknown if ranks changed. Means Cornell is, best case, 11th.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
