For some yes, for others no. They just send schollys out as they go... No way of predicting itbroncos_fan_26 wrote:does merit usually come with original folder?

Just got waitlisted. I am kind of disappointed, as this was my first choice. But some perspective is useful, and I realize it isn't worth getting REALLY upset over. Such is life. If admitted, I'd would attend in a heartbeat. For my own sanity though, is it worth riding the waitlist lol? Do they waitlist EVERYONE this early in the game?

If you really want BU, and it sounds like you do, wait it out. Good luck.Dream Machine wrote:Just got waitlisted. I am kind of disappointed, as this was my first choice. Kinda.. I'm not sure whether or not I want a roommate. I haven't had one in a few years and the last ones I had would constantly leave dirty dishes in the sink for days.broncos_fan_26 wrote:Really hoping to meet some people to live with at this preview.... anyone in the same boat?

haha yea that'd be nice to meet the person before hand to know they aren't clinically insane before sharing a place together. I lucked out in the whole random roommate thing in UG (had 3 roommates freshman year and all were pretty cool)
Only drawback is there are probably going to be a large amount of 0L's there that still haven't made their mind up if they will even attend BU or not.

I'm in that group of undecided 0L's right now but there's a pretty big chance I'll be set on BU once ASD rolls around.ThreeRivers wrote:haha yea that'd be nice to meet the person before hand to know they aren't clinically insane before sharing a place together. Same, I'm planning on starting negotiating on March 1 if I don't get a scholarship offer by that time. So by the time March 23 rolls around good chance I'll be sure if I'm attending there or not . TLS seems to feel they're open to negotiating so I'm hoping for the bestBigBlueLaw wrote:I'm in that group of undecided 0L's right now but there's a pretty big chance I'll be set on BU once ASD rolls around.ThreeRivers wrote:haha yea that'd be nice to meet the person before hand to know they aren't clinically insane before sharing a place together. Minn / Boston
I have a 23 k a year scholarship offer from Minnesota... If Boston comes close to matching that I'll be attending BU, if not Minn
I'm planning on going to them with 23 k a year offer from Minn / 20 k a year offer from W&L and see how they respond.
edit: Wow I just realized any BU addcom could probably easily figure out who I am lol

Question: those of you who plan on moving, how close to or far from the campus are you looking for apartments?

I'm in a somewhat similar position - 30k/yr from Minn. I really want BU to match or be higher, but I don't know when it is appropriate to assume they won't be giving any more offers/approach them.ThreeRivers wrote:Minn / Boston

About them figuring out who you are - I agree, I've thought about that before, but... I figure I don't post anything bad on here!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
