I was able to negotiate. But it was a very very slight increase (however the offer was from a lower ranked school).

Were you needs based? Or was it 100% merit?

Re: Cornell Law Class of 2015
My offer came after I'd informed them of my Fordham, WUSTL, Cardozo, and Illinois offers. So you could argue that's negotiating.
And it's possible it's part need.

Do we need to send in all fin. aid docs before we are reviewed for merit based aid? I've done the fafsa, but what about tax return and the Cornell info sheet?

Anyone know what meal plan options there are, if any. Or are we left to our own devices when it comes to food

It's good if you live in Hughes, there are 6 dining halls within 5 min of a walk. If you don't live in Hughes, it's probably not the best idea.

Alas, I think I will be going to the April ASW... $600 plane ticket for March vs $450 for April... not that either of those choices are stellar and I think the max subsidy I can get is $175

I received a $100 travel subsidy, and was told to pick up a Visa gift card upon check-in. I'm not sure if that's how all the subsidies work, though.Smumps wrote:Going to the march one! I got in, but now I'm not so sure I want to go to law school at all. (BTW, I have no other good career options otherwise)
Convince me. Or you can tell me how I'm a whiny ungrateful little bitch. Or do both, I'd prefer both.

Soooo, has anyone started seriously looking into housing? I haven't joined the Facebook group yet because I'm still deciding between schools, but are people talking about it on there?

Me too! I was initially thinking a 1bd/studio or bust, but it looks like a lot more options would open up with 2-3 beds apts and houses. But yeah, I too am scared of getting stuck with a slob or weirdo...hahaspiritniffler189 wrote:No, I was thinking about starting a convo about housing but still weighing whether or not I'm willing to live w/ a stranger...last thing I need to add to general 1L stress is someone who gets on my nervescrabcakes wrote:Soooo, has anyone started seriously looking into housing?
