If I don't get one, I'll take your first born instead of your acceptance. I have no need for an additional acceptance.UnamSanctam wrote:I mean with your stats I can guarantee you're getting scholly. I'm hoping it says that for everyone and it is just because the system just became live today and we haven't been looked at yet for scholarships, yet.

The website says that the summer sublet waitlist starts at midnight on 04/01. Does that mean I should wait until 04/01 to email my interest to get on the waitlist?AreJay711 wrote:Yeah, you have to check it out when you visit. We have events on the admitted students weekends. If you come March 30 we will be having a big party. If you are visiting some other time, PM me (somewhat far in advance bc I'm rarely on here anymore) and someone can show you the house.UnamSanctam wrote:Really artsy and awesome looking, but that site really lacks information.AreJay711 wrote:Anyway, you should all apply to the Phid house. I was greek in UG... don't know if I can handle it again during law school but would love to get in on a sublet.

From what i know, it is in no way like an UG greek. It's essentially cooperative housing and they throw 2-3 parties a year.JDizzle2015 wrote:The website says that the summer sublet waitlist starts at midnight on 04/01. This may seem like a really silly question but does anyone know how the 3G coverage for AT&T is in the area? I'm thinking of upgrading my iPhone and don't want to do it with AT&T if I'm going to get crappy service.

It's good. Only real problem is on game day but then all of the services basically crap out. AT&T even sets up mobile towers. I guess technology just can't handle 100,000 people in a single place all texting/calling at once.JoeMo wrote:This may seem like a really silly question but does anyone know how the 3G coverage for AT&T is in the area? So, good weekend. Signed a lease starting 9/1/2012 at a spot a six minute walk from the law school, and was notified of a small scholarship.
Now time to relax for 6 months

Does anyone know how we can go about finding apartment-mates? I would like to live in a multi-bedroom rather than a single and will be looking for roommates - preferably other law school students. I'm coming straight from undergrad as well.

I found my roommate 1L on TLS. Admitted weekend can also be useful. The law school will post ads for people looking for roommates but I'd personally rather find someone I've actually gotten to know.MichiganBound wrote:Does anyone know how we can go about finding apartment-mates? Edit: Also, the admitted weekends are good for apt hunting. I rented a car to get to AA and just skipped out on a few events that didn't interest me or toured them during downtime. I even brought along a few people I met the first night which made it a nice time to get to know others.

Im in the same position. It sounds like we will just have to wait until admitted weekends unless we can figure something else out in the meantime.blowhard wrote:I found my roommate 1L on TLS. Just to add to this. By the nature of our library (underground) you don't have good reception in the library. Also, on Sprint there isn't great reception in the basement of the Aikens Commons. Otherwise, reception is great. Oh, also if you have a 4G phone, check your carrier's 4G map. Sprint doesn't have 4G in Ann Arbor.JoeMo wrote:Thank youblowhard wrote:It's good. Re: Michigan Law Class of 2015
Hey all- welcome to MLaw! I'm a very happy camper 2L. Happy to answer questions if you PM me, as I don't come on here much anymore.
If anyone's looking for a one-bedroom for summer only, I'm subletting my beloved place: 8 minute walk to the quad, one block off Main Street (which is where all the action is in the summer). Happy to send pictures and even give you a Skype tour if you're an out-of-towner. Yes, I am procrastinating and avoiding finals by posting this.
Congrats again!

Is it just me, or is "Michigan" the most beautiful word on earth?

I would agree that "Michigan" is currently the most amazing, beautiful word on the planet.Lady in Red wrote:Well...normally I'd say yes, but now I believe I'll be the lady decked out in BLUE!
