The Judge should be much more offended about the injustice that occurred in her presence.

Given the way she ruled, she clearly didn't care a whit.cconnoll wrote:The Judge should be much more offended about the injustice that occurred in her presence.

Wait, what?!
This is just ridiculous. I am still wondering why the judge didn't interject when the deputy started rummaging around.

The judge seemed like real halfwit. She had no control over that courtroom. Ugh makes me sick, that deputy should be punished.

I would rather live in Afghanistan than Maricopa county.

I love that a convicted felon currently serving jail time is the only person in the courtroom--not the judge, prosecuting attorney, law officers, or defense, who stops to go. "Wait, what the hell?"

to Afghanistan.

I didn't say that Maricopa county wasn't prettier than Afghanistan, only that'd I'd rather live in the later. At least in Afghanistan they don't pretend that there's rule of law.

Re: Whoa. This is just wrong.
The only thing that could have made this video better is if the defendant had gone berserk. One deputy left the room and the other approached the bench... I was just waiting for him to go nuts.Cupidity wrote:I love that a convicted felon currently serving jail time is the only person in the courtroom--not the judge, prosecuting attorney, law officers, or defense, who stops to go. This deputy works for Arpaio's Sheriff's department, the same organization who had people arrested at a city meeting for applauding a speaker who criticized Arpaio. They also seized government servers even though they were already in the midst of litigation on the issue, and threatened county employees with arrest over the seizure. He's also been accused of arresting people for 'driving while Mexican.'

The guy's crazy.Just as the Sheriff’s Office is concerned about civilians’ access to records, county management is concerned the Sheriff’s Office now has access to information from other county agencies it is investigating, such as the Superior Court. State appellate courts have rebuffed Arpaio’s attempts to obtain privileged court e-mails, which would be accessible through the system.

Which is why nothing is going to happen to that deputy. Stealing privileged documents is the kind of thing Arpaio encourages, and if the judge sanctioned him she'd probably find herself on the wrong end of a criminal "investigation."NayBoer wrote:This deputy works for Arpaio's Sheriff's department, the same organization who had people arrested at a city meeting for applauding a speaker who criticized Arpaio. Maricopa co. is like a little piece of North Korea in the middle of AZ.

The guy's an attention-whoring D-bag. People who care about civil liberties ought to stop griping about prosecuting Bush and go after him.kings84_wr wrote:the sherrif is the same one who deputized shaq
