At Harvard, it's not great, but it's very professor dependent. One professor told our class that generally, more people deserved LPs than he was allowed to give. Other professors won't give them.

Generally, it means you whiffed the exam. Ultimately though, it's not that big of a deal. Obviously multiple LPs aren't great, but getting an LP won't keep you from getting biglaw.

And grades at Harvard generally don't matter for most employers anyway.
