Joint program JD/PhD in BioEngineering

Anyone out there getting joint degrees - JD and BioEngineering? Any schools other than Stanford?

Many schools offer joint PhD/JD programs. Some explicitly limit the type of Ph.D, others just sort of leave it open ended. Checking the rest of the T6, it looks like Columbia has an explicit program for a joint JD/PhD in “biological sciences,” but that’s the only other T6 school that openly endorsed a bio-related Ph.D. in combination with a J.D.

I know very few people that did a joint JD/Ph.D, and it was usually in economics or history. There are a lot of people doing patent work with a STEM Ph.D and a J.D., but usually they get them separately (e.g., you get the Ph.D, work for a year or two, then go get a law degree). I’ve never met somebody that got them concurrently.
