no we talked numbers,and he said my grade was correct based on the numbers.

i'm in a different state but i feel like he intentionally screwed me based on class attendance. can i challenge the grade when i get back to my city next month? Like my grade was median,bottom line. and he would not release the numbers (averages)

I don't know all the facts but this sounds like a serious issue and I'd guess your professor either misgraded your stuff or mistook someone else's work for yours. I'd complain to administration until they do something about it since 1L grades are so important. Does your school have a facebook group? Post about this problem, if you get enough of your classmates to join you in petitioning the administration, it might make a difference. You should also hire a lawyer and maybe sue your professor.

check the grading policy.. prof could have discretion to lower ur grade base on attendance

Why wait until you're back in the state? Email Registrar, Law School Dean, and one of your real professors, explaining your suspicions. Afterwards, forward the sent email to the LRW instructor, with a "FYI" before the forwarded message.

1L grades are so important. Since your professor screwed up you can get him on malpractice just hire a lawyer. Try to get as much public attention as possible, since law professors shouldn't be permitted to do this kind of shit.

Interesting. Did you happen to use lots of metaphors in your legal writing? Perhaps your LRW instructor has moderate autism like I do and thus takes everything literally. That could explain the outlier grade in LRW.
