Writing competitions?

Post by bnghle234 » Thu Apr 07, 2016 12:31 am

Does anyone know of a good resource/website for finding out about different writing competitions? Thinking of submitting my note somewhere, and trying to find competitions I can submit to. Thanks!

Ideally, your school should have a comprehensive list. In addition, look at associations or bar sections that encompass your topic. I found that state bar sections (especially if your note has any state lean to it) have some of the best payouts. See, e.g., $2,000 for CA Public Law section and $5,000 for TX Real Estate/Probate section.

Couldn't find anything with my school. Will check out the state bar. Thanks!
