How to Quit Pathways Paid Internship

Post by oysterchamp » Fri Feb 26, 2016 12:45 pm

Long story short, I was offered a paid pathways internship and I have been working in the position for some time now. I received a full time jerb and I want to quit my pathways internship.

How do you quit a federal internship? Do you just give notice and walk or is there a procedure to follow?

So wait, you were on a pathways internship and now you've been moved to a full time position? Or were you offered a different job, and now you want to quit the pathways internship?

Your agency should have an HR system (probably HRConnect, I think that's what most agencies are using now) that allows you to post an exit date. Inform your HR person in your office and have them help you with it. If they don't know how, ask their boss.
